AGE :12-18 years old’s – Based off people who watch Youtube and enjoy creative content.

Gender : All genders  - most likely person to prefer this would be a female however.

SOCIAL CLASS : working to high class

Overall theme:

  • What is the basic underlying message.

I want to create a YouTube like food review on Japanese sweets. For my multi-cam idea, I am doing a YouTube like Japanese sweet review. I am already planning my equipment and I plan to use my Fuji camera and two iPhone 12's. I want a central shot, a shot above me so I can present what I am making, and a side shot or potentially a panning shot. For the setting, i will either use my bedroom or my dining room. I will have my boom mic on my main camera (fuji) and that will pair with the iPhones. I will also be editing an intro to make it YouTube like. I am planning on having graphics show up such as a tally on each sweet giving it a rank.

What does it need to say about?

  • People
  • Situations
  • The world we live in

It will give an insight into other countries culture and the type of sweets they eat.

How long will it last:

Approximately 10-15 minutes

How will the programme be seen:

  • On television
  • On DVD
  • On the internet

On Youtube

What research did you do:

  • To help you develop the characters
  • To make the idea credible to the viewer

I am analysing the target audience thoroughly.

Watching other food reviews on Youtube.

Researching quantitative and qualitative data.

Treatment

Synopsis:

  • What is the overall plot
  • What happens in each scene
  • Where is each scene set

The overall plot is to review Japanese sweets.

It will be a raw reaction so a script is not necessary.

The location could be in my bedroom or the study. ( this will be decided on which is best for lighting and sound testing )

Setting:

  • Past
  • Present
  • Future

Pres

Genre:

  • Comedy
  • Serious drama
  • Reality TV Style
  • Horror
  • Action
  • Fantasy

-          Review

-          YouTube review – meaning it will be relatively relaxed and aimed at younger audiences.

Dialogue:

  • Stick closely to the script
  • Improvise the dialogue

No script is needed as it will a be a raw reaction.

Pace:

  • Fast - to build excitement
  • Slow - to provide depth

Pace will be normal – not rushed and not slow , it will be a raw reaction so it will take as long as It is needed, however it will be most probably be edited down in pre-production.

Camera work:

  • Use a tripod
  • Hand Held
  • How will you use camera moves
  • What kind of camera angles will you use

FUJI FILM XT-200

2X IPHONE 12

BOOM MIC FOR FUJI – this will be the only microphone I will use.

One camera will be placed in a central position

One to the side

And another one to the other side.

Look:

  • Colour
  • Black & White
  • Widescreen or 4 by 3
  • Studio
  • On location

I am intending on using graphics that will appear showing the rank of sweetness and taste out of ten.

It will be bright colours to keep it linked to the younger audience.

How you will use lighting:

  • Available Light
  • Brightly lit
  • Mood lit

I have two studio like lights that I can use.

Sound:

  • Sync-sound
  • Voiceover
  • Music
  • Sound effects

Sound effects.

Intro

No voiceover.

Scene Transitions:

  • Cut between scenes
  • Cross-fade scenes
  • Fade to black
  • Use captions

I have a plan on using  a tv glitch as a quick cutscene.

LOCATION SCOUT

My shots will all be in one location, however, within that I need to make sure that all shots look right.
Linking back to my research, I spoke about how certain YouTubers who do videos like I am planning to do use shots that I want to do.

SOUND LIST / SHOT LIST.

This just shows what I am using in terms of equipment.

The shot list is just clarifying what shots I will use,

IMAGES ARE SUPPOSED TO BE IN THE BOXES.

PRODUCTION SCHEDULE

I laid out a production schedule in making sure I get things at a structured rate.
STORYBOARD.

basic storyboard just showing the generic ideology around my video and the core structure that I want use.
