IDEAS

 Ideas

My first idea is to create a ''food of America '' review. What I will do is order a box full of american sweets and talk about the bit by bit. Another idea to add on the food review type project is to create a Norfolk cheese review in partnership with The Norfolk Cheese Company. I need to start by letting the viewers know immediately that the review contains useful information and is worth Watching. I want to open the review with an enticing line that promises an interesting ending.

For the cheese review, it will be me and the Norfolk Cheese Company owner ( my mum ) , it could almost be a participatory documentary as i will learn alongside the viewer about what cheeses go with what and good it is. Within this review i could include close ups of the cheese and also a score on each cheese. It is almost like a youtube video on learning about the cheeses however i do want to make it professional and not an informal video.

My american food review idea would be different. It would be a little more relaxed as it is for a younger audience. I could have one central shot , a shot at the side and one above me so the viewers could get a full view of what i am doing. Another camera technique i am considering is to have a slow moving shot of the location we are filming in , this could add a sense of flow to the video and give the audience a different perspective.

These ideas are all at an early development however this is something that i can work on. To create a food review i dont want to be generic and the same , i need to analyse deeply on how i can redefine the boundaries of food reviews and how i can be distinctive. .

FINAL IDEA

My final idea is to create a Japanese sweet review. I will utilise the idea of a multi-camera piece by using a central shot, and two sides of me using iPhones. I am looking at making it a youtube inspired video, e.g. informal and laid back. I am planning on rating each sweet on, taste, texture and looks.
